Tags can help you manage your contact information in Witei. How you can create custom tags.

A. Tags: what they are and types of tags

Tags are unique identifiers that can be associated to your contacts for different purposes, for example to: search, sort, categorize, filter and segment records in a more efficient way.

Tags are the easiest way to classify our database. If we get in the habit of tagging on a constant basis, our sales options will multiply.

Types of tags:

  • Note that Witei already provides you with a list of "system or predefined tags", i.e. tags that are already created by default in your Witei account so that you can add them to the interests section in your contacts. Example: elevator, central heating, furnished, etc.

  • If for your internal organization, you need to create more tags, you can create "custom tags" from the section: Settings > CRM > Tags > Create tag > Add a name in English and Spanish > Save.

  • Within each tag you will have the option to configure it to be used in a public or private way. Keep in mind that the "private tags" will not be shown in your real estate website or in the portals with which you synchronize the properties to which you apply it.

  • You will also be able to choose if you want that tag to be taken into account for the suggested property Matching or not. If it is applied to a contact, the suggested properties will be filtered taking into account this tag.

Below we show you the color legend and iconography that you will see once the tags are added in the file, so you can identify the type of tag more easily:

*Important: tags are visible to all users of the workspace, but they can only be edited, created or deleted by users with administrator permissions.

B. Add tags to a contact

Tags help you record the interests or characteristics of your customers. Therefore, you can add them by going into the customer's file and going to the "interests" section.

It is only necessary to add as tags the characteristics that the client tells us are essential for them. Since the tag we add will determine the search results we carry out.

You can create tags from the Settings > CRM > Tags section > Create tag > Add a name in English and Spanish > Save.

  • Within each one you will have the option to use it publicly or privately. Each one would have a specific use that you can adapt to your needs.

  • You will also be able to choose if you want that tag to be taken into account for the suggested property Matching or not.

C. Using tags to filter contacts

Remember, you can filter customers by their tags quickly and efficiently:

1. CRM.

2. Adding the filter: Tag > is or is not > (here you specify the tag).

3. Click on: Apply.

There you will be able to see the list of contacts that contain (or do not contain) the tag by which you have previously filtered.
