A. Tags: what they are and types of tags.
Tags are identifiers that can be associated to your contacts for different purposes, for example to: search, sort, categorize, filter and segment your properties in a more efficient way.
Types of tags:
Note that Witei already provides you with a list of "system or predefined tags", i.e. tags that are already created by default in your Witei account so you can add them to the tags section of the property form. Example: elevator, central heating, furnished, etc. It is important to note that not all of these tags are visible on the portals.
If for your internal organization, you need to create more tags, you can create "custom tags" from the section: Settings > CRM > Tags > Create tag > Add a name in English and Spanish > Save.
Within each tag you will have the option to configure it to be used in a public or private way. Please note that the "private tags" will not be displayed on your real estate website, on portals with which you synchronize the properties to which you apply it, posters / adposts and/or detailed cards that you create.
You will also be able to choose if you want that tag to be taken into account for the suggested property Matching or not. If it is applied to a contact, the suggested properties will be filtered taking into account this tag.
Below we show you the color legend and iconography that you will see once the tags are added in the file, so you can identify the type of tag more easily:
*Important: tags are visible to all users of the workspace, but they can only be edited, created or deleted by users with administrator permissions.

B. Adding tags to a property and how to create custom tags.
If you need to create more tags due to your internal organization, you can create "custom tags" from the section: Settings > CRM > Tags > Create tag > Add a name in English and Spanish > Save.
You can add tags to a property either if you want to complement the type of property or if you want to add more characteristics about the property. All the tags are added from the property form by following these steps:
Access the Properties section.
At the top right click on "Edit".
In the field "Tags" of the property form add the tags:
Recommendations for use:
Add tags to the house form
Use the search engine where "add features using your tags" is indicated. If you click on it, the tags list is going to unfold. You can type some text to search for specific tags.
To add a tag, click on it.
Remove property tags
Use the red (X) icon on each tag to remove it from the property.
Suggested tags
Based on the selected kind of property, Witei now shows you some suggested tags.
You can add it by clicking on the blue (+) icon on the tag if any of these tags match the property characteristics.
Finally, we remind you that not all tags are sent to all real estate portals through the interconnections. It is not something new. It is how it has always worked. However, we mention this here mainly to make the new user's expectations who are beginning to use Witei.
Please note:
There are tags that serve to complement the type of property, such as: penthouse, first floor, townhouse, duplex, etc. Remember to include them to specify these types of properties.
If you want to add a tag that Witei does not have, remember that you can create custom tags from that same section, clicking on "You can create it yourself at".
There are tags that serve to add more characteristics to the property, such as: swimming pool, equipped kitchen, central heating, exterior, garage included, etc. It is necessary to put all the characteristics that the property has so it will be published correctly in the portals that allow to show them and the suggested property Matching tool will have more information.

Observations on the use and meaning of the following system or predefined tags:
"Garage included": the parking space is included in the price of the property.
"Parking": availability of parking space (but it does not have to be included in the price).
"Building with parking lot": possibility of parking space in the same building (but it does not have to be included in the price).
* We recommend you to add to your property the appropriate one in each case and, in addition, to specify all the details about it in the field "Description" of your property.
C. Using tags to filter properties.
Remember that you can also filter your properties by tags. You will be able to do it from:
Properties section of your Witei main menu.
Applying the filter: "Tag" > is or is not > (here you indicate the tag).
Click on "Apply".
There you can see the list of properties that contain (or do not contain) the tag by which you have previously filtered.
