Perform a data export

Export your properties, photos, contacts, tasks, offers, messages, and blog.

Updated over 3 months ago

You can export your data on Witei whenever you need it.

Remember that currently, only administrator users can perform a global data export.

Non-administrator users will need a special permission to generate and download data exports, which we explain in this entry in our Changelog.

This permission can be assigned by an administrator user in the section: Settings > Workplace > Users.

If you want to learn more about user permission types, access this article.

To perform exports, you will need to go to: Settings >Workplace > Data export.

You can export information about your properties, contacts, and website using Excel or CSV, including photos, documents, offers, clients, tasks, conversations, and/or blog articles.

If you open the drop-down menus in the inverted triangle of the options that have it, you will see the information you can export for each type of data entity.

After you have requested an export, Witei will notify you that your export is being processed. After refreshing the page, you will be able to see the download icon for your export once its status is "Done."

The estimated wait time is about 24 hours, and the export speed will depend on the volume of data you are exporting.

Keep in mind that you can only download export files that were generated less than 30 days ago. After those 30 days, you will be able to see the export request you made, but you will not be able to download the file, which means you will have to request the export again.

Important: If the files you want to export exceed 10,000 data points (Properties - Contacts - Photos - Tasks - Offers - Documents), Witei will divide the data into several files.

Here's an example:

  • If you have 34,000 properties, Witei will divide them into 3 files of 10,000 each and 1 file of 4,000.
