Guide with the different ways to import to Witei: contacts, real estate, photos, tasks...

Updated over a month ago

There are different ways to bring your data to Witei depending on whether it is a file or from a portal.

You can access the Witei import like this:

We can import data from: properties, contacts, users and tasks. From xml, excel or csv file formats. Also from the following:

  • Excel: The file has to have headers indicating the name of each field.

You have to make sure that there are not multiple sheets in the file. If so, you have to upload the sheets that interest you independently.

  • CSV:

The file must have headers and the values must be separated by commas.

The columns must be uniform in their content. Example: it is not possible that part of the same column has telephones and another part has emails. There must be a column for each type of value to be imported.

  • XML:

The file must have a valid XML format.

  • If you have a WordPress website, you cannot import it if you convert it to CSV or XML as is. You have to extract the information correctly so that a valid file is generated.

Important: If the number of properties you want to import into your account is greater than what your Property Manager plan allows, only the properties included in your Property Manager service plan will be imported. Remember to adjust your plans to the volume of data to import, I link you here the plans of the Property Manager service.

  • To Import Pictures from a File:

1. It must be placed in the file that you want to import as a URL, in order to get the image.

Imports from the file require review, so the estimated term can be from 2 to 7 business days.

B. Import from another platform:

1. Go to Settings > Property Manager> Import properties > New import from online platform.

2. Choose format such as:

  • Kyero

  • Fotocasa (Only available for new client migrations)

Click on "Create import" of the source format you want. Each format will have its type of online source and link that you must request.

Important: If you choose this option of '' I want my properties to be synchronized'', the uploaded file will be updated every night, leaving the properties with the data that is in the file from the source where it matters. In other words, the changes that you have made manually in the property file will be eliminated, leaving them as they are in the source of origin each day and the properties will be updated as they are in the online source, changing those that no longer appear in the import to inactive in Witei

4. Click on ''Save''.

  • Remember, if you are going to import from an online source using Kyero it must be a Kyero v. 3 type XML. Here is the link to validate it: https://feeds.kyero.com/validator/

  • Keep in mind that if you create two Imports with files or URLs to files that have the same Property References, they will only be imported the first time, since Witei cannot generate Duplicate Property References by rule. It is a great advantage that will allow you not to duplicate properties by mistake when importing them to your Real Estate portfolio.
